The Sioux Falls Tournament of Blades is a premier open-format martial arts event dedicated to edged weapon disciplines from across the world. Whether your art is rooted in the European longsword, the precision of épée fencing, the elegance of Japanese katana, or any traditional or modern bladed system, this tournament is your arena.
Hosted by DMA of Sioux Falls, this event was created to foster a spirit of respect, competition, and camaraderie across martial disciplines. All edged weapons practitioners—regardless of style, system, or background—are invited to test their skill, share knowledge, and grow together.

Tournament format and structure:
● Space is limited – each division is capped at 32 competitors
● Preregistration is required for all participants.
● All fighting divisions are double elimination, giving each competitor multiple chances to learn and grow
● Brackets will be created the night before based on experience and age groups to ensure competitive balance
● The tournament will be run across two rings
● Due to limited space, spectators will be extremely limited. Live match broadcasting will be available for spectators and supporters
